Consumer Confidence Reports

Last year, as in years past, our tap water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state drinking water health standards. We vigilantly safeguard our water supplies and are proud to report that our system has not violated a maximum contaminant level or any other water quality standard.

The wells and distribution systems of Tomales High School and Tomales Elementary Schools are considered public water systems. The Consumer Confidence Rule requires public water systems to provide consumer confidence reports (CCR) to the public. These reports are also known as annual water quality reports or drinking water quality reports.

The CCR summarizes information regarding sources used (i.e., wells, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or aquifers), any detected contaminants, compliance and educational information. The reports are due to customers by July 1st of each year.
